MSOA Will be BACK in Salem for Summer Workshops & Fall School

Salem MSOA offers Summer Camp the week of July 16th, Monday - Wednesday, with an art exhibit on the last day, after class concludes. From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a break for lunch, we offer:
- Painting and Drawing for Age 10 - 17 Years Old
- Painting, Drawing, Crafts for Age 7 - 9 Years Old

Cost is $200 per student, all supplies included.
A deposit of $35 is due at Registration to secure your spot. Balance is payable by the first day of camp.

Watercolor Painting: Basic Brush Strokes and Still Life 
Acrylic Painting: Techniques of the Masters
Drawing Animals: Focus on Fur, Feathers, Fins & Scales
Drawing with Color: Pastels & Colored Pencils
Drawing Cartoons & Fantasy Illustration

Sculpture Variations: Relief, Plaster

 


An Art Exhibit and Revue will take place at the end of Salem camp, right after classes end on Wednesday.

Salem Tuition & Fees

***MSOA has increased their tuition by a small amount per student, for the first time in many years, effective Fall 2018. The Clackamas location has already implemented that increase. Satellite locations are working it into the information right now. Check back here for firm tuition costs when the final class schedule is released.***

Tuition: (Subject to Change before Enrollment Begins)

Tuition is paid monthly, due at the 1st class of each month, payable by check, money order or cash to the front office. Details to come.

Fees, Supplies & Tools

Registration Fee:

A $35 non-refundable Registration Fee is due at the beginning of every term, and is due on or before Orientation. Alternatively, you may pay for the full school year at once, and receive a $10 discount, making Registration $60, due at Fall Registration.

 

All students enrolling in Masters School of Art must pay the registration and supply fees.

This includes Scholarship students.

 

Supply Fee:

A basic supply fee is due once per term for all students, and must be paid with first month's tuition. Details to come.

 

Basic Supply Fee List - this list shows some of what the basic supply fee helps cover. 

 

There may be additional tools your student artist will need to purchase for certain classes, such as paints, watercolors, brushes, micron pens, colored pencils, pastels.
Scholarships:

(There are no scholarships available for our Fall 2018 term)

A limited number of scholarships are typically available each year. Students must RE-APPLY every term for a scholarship. The MSOA school board will make final decisions regarding acceptance. We expect all scholarship families to participate in our fundraisers every term. Our fundraisers for the scholarship fund, which allows us to offer scholarships.
