Level: 2, Age Requirements: 9 – Up, Format: Classroom, Prerequisites: Complete successfully Drawing I.
DESCRIPTION:
Students develop speed, precision, and drawing skills. Introduction to pen & ink, washes and charcoal.
OBJECTIVES:
To accurately draw under time restraint. Students are introduced to the use of pen in illustrative drawings.
SUPPLIES:
Students need to purchase a large (approx. 11x14) portfolio. Since students will be introduced to Pen & Ink in this class, they may want to purchase a set of ink pens. A Micron pen set works well (.005, .01, .02, .03, .05 and .08 recommended). All other supplies are taken out of the school supply fees.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Every student will be expected to practice basic weekly exercises that may take up to two-and-a-half hours a week. Students present their portfolios at our Art Exhibit at the end of the term.
REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS:
Check schedule to determine time of class. Students are responsible for
showing up on time. Work will take place during regular class hours.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
Students will not be graded (unless in college); however, they will be evaluated on their ability to complete in-class assignments. College level students taking the class may have extra assignments and will be graded.

DRAWING 202 - Perfecting Your Drawing Skills
LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced Prerequisites: Drawing 201
Students may continue use of Drawing 201 portfolio to store art projects or they may purchase an art book to complete drawings in.
